[ Hyunki had a funny concept of time. Sometimes, when he was meditating, or communing with Nature, it felt like he could not feel it pass anymore. Like he was stuck on a second.
And right now, it feels the same. The wind stopped rustling leaves, owls stopped hooting, crickets stopped moving around. Everything went quiet, but for the sound of Hyunki's rapidly beating heart, and his harsh breaths as he gave up on trying to stay steady.
He didn't change his mind. If anything, he moved closer, meeting Adder in the middle, his fingers squeezing Adder's as their lips touched. For a second, Hyunki could only press back, unsure what else to do, but he felt Adder's lips part against his own and he followed suit, his entire body taken by the onslaught of sensations. His stomach muscles contracted, his free hand moving to the back of Adder's head, Hyunki's whole body yearning to be closer. ]
