[ Hyunki had dreamt about his first kiss. He'd dreamt about it multiple times, under different scenarios, and never, of course, the one he was in right now. But right now? He felt safe. He felt warm all over, welcoming Adder over his lap when he moved to fully straddle Hyunki, the weight of him feeling like an anchor.
A reminder that this, in fact, was reality. He was kissing someone, being kissed, and it felt - it felt wonderful, like the two of them were the only people in the world, like Hyunki was the only person that mattered to Adder right now, like nothing could disrupt this moment.
Hyunki was not trying to keep his moans in, at this point. They were free-flowing, as he was breathing through his nose, whenever Adder changed the rhythm of did something new, different. Hyunki's hands moved down along Adder's back, stopping just shy of the waistband of his pants, as he felt his own body reaction to the pleasure that was coursing through his veins. ]
[ kissing under moonlight and a thousand stars, something more romantic than he ever anticipated experiencing. having it with hyunki only made it a million times more special because of the developing bond forming between them. one in which adder never worried about being something or playing any kind of part. in fact, he broke himself down and hyunki seemed to still want him all the same. it left a heady kind of rush.
just like the moans. for the love of nyx, hyunki would be the actual and literal end of him. groaning in response, adder drew back to press his lips in a messy way over hyunki's face and down his neck before he returned to his lips with an almost whimper.
well, damn.
the heat burned hotter through his veins and it turned the kiss messier, more passionate and a little wetter. ]
[ Hyunki spared a moment to think that, surely, this was what human society, at large, would consider romantic. Kissing under the moonlight, warm and safe in the arms of someone so incredibly special to you, discovering these feelings together. It was probably considered the height of romance, and Hyunki just melted further into Adder's touch, giving back just as much as he was being given, his heart wild in his chest as he kissed Adder with everything he was made of.
He felt light-headed, dizzy with feelings he did not recognize and lack of oxygen and a very strong desire to never stop, his hands fisting into Adder's clothes in the only way he knew how to resist trying to reach for skin, under Adder's layers.
He did not want to rush this. Their bond was something privileged, and extremely dear to him. But then, Adder was kissing his neck, and Hyunki's entire body jerked forward, like he'd been hit by lightning, a choked off noise escaping him. Seems like he's sensitive, here, cheeks heating up even though most of his blood seemed to rush south.
He surged into Adder's kiss again, holding him closer as he responded in kind, but only for a time. He forced himself to pull away, after a moment longer, breathing very hard, his whole body aching for Adder. ]
Wow. I can see why people lose their heads over this.
[ the dizziness they shared, a kind of lightheaded experience he could see why others fought so hard to keep it. to keep bonded and close to someone else. a lot of wars were waged over the many years of existence but at the end of it all love drove everyone forward. the love just took many shapes and sizes. if this could be the beginning of such a devotion, now he understood why.
the shudders he took special note of, filing away the information for later. a sensitive neck - excellent and very helpful for him. he could not say yet where his spots might be other than the obvious ones, of course.
panting when they broke apart, adder's eyes darkened for a flash of a moment, taking on the pure blackness of his real appearance. it meant a loss of control on his part but when he realized, he quickly changed them back into the human like brown he adopted sometimes blue or green depending on his mood at the moment. blue tended to be during momens of happiness.
his eyes were rarely ever blue. ]
I know. [ he rasped out, not even recognizing his own voice at the moment with how husky it sounded. ] Are you sure you've never kissed anyone before? [ then to just be playful, he leaned in to bite lightly at hyunki's neck. ]
[ Hyunki could hardly think. He was all sensations - Adder's hands on him, searing hot through his clothing, how swollen his own lips felt, the tingling that started there and ran all throughout his body. The way his fingers ached, still holding on to tightly to Adder. He wanted to kiss him again. And again. And never stop.
But he had to try and keep his head, at least a little. He wanted so much, but he knew this shouldn't be the way to go about it. He didn't want to ruin something potentially beautiful by rushing into things.
So he forced his fingers to unclench, slowly, and rubbed them up and down Adder's back instead, slowly, as he let out a little laugh, blushing furiously. ]
Quite certain. [ He punctuated the words with another moan when Adder went to his neck again, goosebumps rising all over his arms as he tilted his head to give Adder better access. ] This - this feels good.
[ in addition to all the heat and want, adder also had a giddy sort of emotion to join the mix. something lighter and not so bogged down as normal. it drew him closer and left him more open than usual. a kind of thing he wanted to hold onto and also protect if he could.
he never anticipated it might extend for long, though. how or why would it?
finishing up with the mark, he pulled back with a pleased murmur, nodding his head to himself. ]
I'm making note of that and - I like the noises you make a lot. It's really - alluring.
[ expressing himself would continue to be difficult for awhile considering he never usually did so. ]
Am I - too heavy? I can move...I just - kind of - wanted to be closer to you.
[ Hyunki will look in the mirror and discover this mark, and probably blush so deeply it would run down to his chest. For now, he just sighed, hiding his face in Adder's shoulder, a little bit of embarrassment surging through him as he realized all the wanton noises he'd been making. ]
I usually have better control. But you make me - forget myself, a little.
[ At Adder's question, Hyunki shook his head fervently, his fingers clamping down on his clothes again. ] No, stay. I like it. You're perfect, right here. I don't want to ever move.
[ the noises made things a dozen times better for him because it acted like confirmation in a way. on doing things right and doing well, which mattered to him. he wanted to be good at it for hyunki, who seemed to see beyond what he tended to be for most.
it continued to shock him.

his heart squeezed in his chest like a vice and he held onto hyunki a little tighter. ]
I like you did. I like hearing it - all of it. It - uh - let's me know you like - this.
[ as for the other thing, a blush stained his cheeks again. ] Be careful saying that, Hyunki, or you'll find me in your lap a lot.
[ Hyunki wanted to do things right, too. He wanted to hear Adder find pleasure in his kisses, in his touches, and he would strive to get better at this until he got it. He was passionate, and he was a quick study, and learning was everything he always wanted.
Now he just had a new study subject: Adder's body. ]
I do. I really do. I'd like - more. Anytime. Anytime you'd like. I'd really like that. And I'd really wouldn't mind having you on my lap more. Not at all.
[ a study hyunki already had skill with, which boded so well for the future. if hyunki still wanted to explore and be with him, of course. adder knew better than to assume anything or really hope in any shape or form.

That's. That's good. Would you like - we could go inside. I'd like to make sure you sleep the rest of the night well.
[ Oh, no, that pout. Gods, and he thought Adder couldn't get more endearing to him, there he went, doing this. Hyunki had to smile, hands moving up to curl around Adder's neck. ]
Yes. If you want me to, I'll stay. I'd like to stay. Make sure you have better dreams. Or we can just talk all night.
[ before long he would learn all about the power of the pout. actually, he would learn a lot of things to use at his disposal but in a good way, of course. he wouldn't take advantage.

I would like to talk all night. We - can lay together, maybe? Uhh - I think mortals refer to it as cuddling.
[ Nodding, Hyunki smiled, his whole body feeling warm and content. It felt right. ]
Mmhmm. They do, indeed. I don't actually really have a room, in the house, by the way. I just tend to nap on the couch randomly. I need very little sleep.
[ Hyunki's heart did a flip, there, at the words. At the offer, no hesitation in it, just an open show of trust, a desire for them to spend more time together.
Standing up after Adder and taking his hand, Hyunki nodded. ]
[ squeezing hyunki's hand, he led them into the house and where he had his room. in the furthest corner he could find or that they had open. far away from everyone else. ]
I do like plants. [ he looked very pointedly at hyunki. ] I like you, don't I?
[ it seemed adder finally felt comfortable enough to really tease as well. ]
[ Hyunki let out a chuckle, trying to stay quiet as it was, after all, the middle of the night, and most of the house's inhabitants were currently asleep. ]
Fair point. [ He looked around the room, sparsely furnished outside of a bed and a dresser, and hummed under his breath. ]
Yes, this room could probably do with some greenery. Outside of myself, I mean. [ He did, after all, always have a little bit of a greenish undertone to his skin. It made the freckles over his face and collarbones look more prominent. ]
[ the room while not much, certainly served as an upgrade for what he left and had before. outside of the underworld, of course, because his chambers there were kind of awe inspiring. they would make most who loved design weep.
he spent millions of years perfecting it, okay.
wider smile taking over his face, adder sat down on the bed. ]
Don't worry, dear, you'll still be my favorite green no matter what else you bring in here.
[ his eyes gazed around a little. ]
We could add some vines if you wanted too, some grass. Flowers. Anything else you really like?
[ Hyunki reached out to touch Adder's face, smiling. ]
You want to turn this room into a garden. For me?
[ It was so much. Hyunki had no idea where to even start trying to show Adder his appreciation, how much he enjoyed his company, and his gentleness, and apparently, his desire to provide everything Hyunki could want.
It made Hyunki's heart did funny, funny things. ]
I used to sleep in a hammock. I enjoyed it a lot. But your bed - your bed is just fine. I don't need anything, really.
[ he gave a nod of his head, leaning forward to kiss hyunki's cheek. ] I want it to be a garden for you - for us. It'll be nice and relaxing. Another place we can escape to.
[ there were a few places they had so far and he thought of each one as theirs already. he wondered if hyunki thought the same.
a hammock; he added it to his mental checklist, deciding to check out a few places to acquire one. ]
I've never slept in a hammock before. We could set it up there. [ he motioned towards the other side of the room opposite the bed because there would be plenty of space. ] I - want you to always tell me what you want Hyunki, and what you don't want. Being - open with each other, always, okay? I don't want - my life is always filled with so many secrets. I - don't - can't - want any with us.
[ And oh, how he did. How he wanted to share these secret places with Adder, have many of them where they could find each other, be themselves and be alone and be together there. Places that were theirs. ]
It's very comfortable, if a bit precarious to get into, at first. [ Hyunki smiled, imagining the room with all the greenery, soft light and a hammock for them to find each other in.
Nodding, he looked at the side of Adder's face, solemn. ]
There are things I can't say out loud here, but I don't want to hide them from you. I've told you some, already. But I do like communication. I don't want to be afraid to talk to you about anything, and I am not. And vice versa. I'll hear you out, always.
For us. [ he agreed, a little in awe with how much he already enjoyed the sound of us and together. a sense of belonging he would have never considered possible for him but hyunki kept opening things up. he kept giving him everything he never knew he needed before.
at this rate, he already couldn't imagine not being with him, which also surprised him. he had become attached so quickly and it really sunk in recently how much he depended on hyunki. ]
I trust you. [ not words he took lightly and he had spoken them very rarely in his long lived existence but with hyunki he meant them on a whole other level. ]
We - have time to figure things out. To figure each other out. But I do want that. I want us to be able to discuss everything with each other and not hold back. I want - I'm trying to let you in, Hyunki. Fully. Completely.
[ It truly felt like Hyunki's heart would fly right out of his chest, hearing these words from Adder. Hyunki had been very naive, before entering the Human world, had been so trusting, and it had turned on him, enough times that he had learned to maybe not trust so easily.
But Adder was different. He had smashed through these flimsy barriers in mere moments, with truthful words and no wavering, always so willing to try, for Hyunki, which means. Everything.
He was not trying to use Hyunki, or to toy with him, or to manipulate him. He was just himself, and that person was someone Hyunki was falling for. Or at least, he was pretty sure it was the correct sentiment. ]
I trust you too. With everything.
[ Gently, he started pulling Adder towards the bed, climbing on it and lying down, a hand under his own head, the moonlight spilling into the room from the large window just above the bed. ]
